A tractor carrying devotees returning from an idol immersion ceremony overturned in Samastipur, Bihar, resulting in the deaths of two young children and serious injuries to two others. The incident occurred near the Shanti River bridge, where the tractor fell approximately 20 feet into a ditch. Local residents, with the help of a JCB, conducted rescue operations. The police have begun an investigation into the matter. The tractor lost balance while trying to make way for an oncoming four-wheeler, causing it to veer off the road and overturn.
