During a routine vehicle check on the JP Setu bridge in Patna, police apprehended a young man and woman after discovering over 1.2 million rupees in cash hidden in a suitcase on their scooty. The pair were unable to provide a satisfactory explanation for the source of the funds. The matter has since been escalated to the Income Tax department for further investigation into the origin and intended use of the cash.
