Gurugram Police Arrest Two for Daylight Abduction of Delivery Boy Over Alleged Theft
Gurugram police have arrested two individuals in connection with the daylight abduction and assault of a delivery boy. The accused, identified as Jaybir and Aman, allegedly targeted their friend to recover INR 6.50 lakh, which they claimed the victim had stolen from Jaybir after he sold his truck in 2024. The incident occurred when the victim was stopped by a car, assaulted with sticks, and forced into the vehicle. A passerby alerted the police, whose EVR team swiftly pursued the suspects, successfully rescuing the victim and apprehending the accused. Police recovered the car used in the crime and a wooden stick. Both suspects have been presented in court, and legal proceedings are ongoing.
