A Class 10 student, Om Prakash Dwivedi, tragically died from electrocution while lowering the national flag after Republic Day celebrations at a private coaching center in Jagatsinghpur, Odisha. The incident occurred when the iron pole used for hoisting the flag accidentally came into contact with an 11 KV high-tension power line.
