Congress Leadership Discusses Bihar Strategy, Dismisses MLA Defection Rumors
A high-level Congress meeting in Delhi, chaired by party president Mallikarjun Kharge and attended by Rahul Gandhi, discussed strategies to strengthen the party's presence in Bihar. Following the meeting, Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal strongly refuted reports claiming newly elected Bihar MLAs were planning to defect, stating all MLAs were present and such rumors were false and baseless. The meeting comes after the Congress secured only six seats in the recent Bihar assembly elections.
