Bihar Woman Alleges Ex-Boyfriend Blackmailed Her For Years With Objectionable Video
A woman in Samastipur, Bihar, has lodged a police complaint accusing her former boyfriend of intoxicating her in 2021 to record an objectionable video, which he subsequently used to blackmail her for several years. She claims that when her marriage was arranged, the accused sent the video to the prospective groom's family, attempting to sabotage the relationship, and also created fake social media profiles to upload her pictures and videos. The woman has filed complaints with both the women's police station and the cyber police station. The accused has countered with an accusation that the woman extorted 20 lakh rupees from him, a claim she denies, stating that he and his family were the ones demanding money. Police are currently investigating the matter.
