Delhi Air Quality Improves After Rainfall, AQI Reaches 'Moderate' Category

Following Sunday's rainfall, Delhi has experienced a significant improvement in its air quality. The Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 150 at 9 AM, falling within the 'moderate' category according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). This improvement comes after a period of higher pollution levels, with rain helping to clear the atmosphere. The minimum temperature recorded on Sunday was 6.6 degrees Celsius, slightly below the seasonal average. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) also noted that the night temperature was lower than the usual average, with relative humidity at 90% in the morning. Forecasts suggest partly cloudy skies, moderate winds, and the possibility of fog at night, with the maximum temperature expected to be around 19 degrees Celsius. An AQI between 0-50 is considered 'good', 51-100 'satisfactory', 101-200 'moderate', 201-300 'poor', 301-400 'very poor', and 401-500 'severe'.
