The flight carrying Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, which crashed near Baramati, was operated by Captain Sumit Kapoor and co-pilot Shambhavi Pathak. Both pilots lost their lives in the accident, leaving their families in deep grief. Shambhavi Pathak, a young pilot with dreams of soaring high, pursued her aviation training in New Zealand after studying at Air Force Bal Bharati School in Delhi. She had previously worked at a flying club in Madhya Pradesh before tragically becoming a victim of the crash. Her family, who recently moved to a new building in Delhi's Safdarjung Enclave, is being consoled by close relatives. The incident also claimed the lives of four other individuals besides Pawar, who was en route to attend district council election-related events.
