Ayodhya Deputy Commissioner Faces Probe Over Alleged Fake Disability Certificate
Ayodhya Deputy Commissioner Prashant Kumar Singh, who recently resigned from his post citing personal reasons and expressing support for Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is now under investigation for allegedly obtaining his government job using a fraudulent disability certificate. The allegations were brought forth by his elder brother, Dr. Vishwajit Singh, who claims the certificate was fake and used to secure employment. Singh had reportedly vied for a BJP ticket from Mau district in 2022 while working as an Assistant Commissioner in the GST department. The current probe will involve an administrative inquiry and a medical board report to ascertain the validity of the disability claim.
