West Bengal Minister, TMC IT Head Receive Voter List Revision Notices; Allege Hasty Process
West Bengal Minister Shashi Panja and Trinamool Congress IT Cell chief Debanshu Bhattacharya have received notices under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Panja, who is also the Minister for Women and Child Development, stated that she submitted all necessary documents but her name is still being shown as invalid. She questioned the process, alleging it is being conducted hastily and without preparation. Bhattacharya echoed similar concerns, claiming that he and his family members received notices despite providing flawless details and having their names on the 2002 voter list. He accused the BJP of using AI-based technology to selectively target those opposing the party.
