Six Arrested in Madhya Pradesh for Brutal Assault on Mentally Impaired Youth

In Rajgarh district, Madhya Pradesh, police have apprehended six individuals involved in the severe beating and forced tonsuring of a mentally impaired young man in Dilavara village. The incident came to light after a video depicting the assault went viral on social media, prompting a swift police investigation. A total of 12 people were identified in connection with the crime, with the remaining six still at large. The victim, identified as Durgesh Tanwar, was allegedly mistaken for a suspect by some villagers. He was reportedly beaten, had his head and beard forcibly shaved, and a video of the act was circulated online, causing him significant distress. Police have registered a case and are actively pursuing the remaining accused, emphasizing a zero-tolerance policy for such acts that violate law and human dignity.
