Deepti Tripathi's BJP Induction Postponed Due to Security Threat

The planned induction of Deepti Tripathi, wife of Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) Chairman Manoj Tripathi, into the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been postponed. The decision was made following intelligence reports indicating a potential threat to her life from extremist or criminal elements. The Haryana BJP cited security concerns for the postponement, stating that a new date will be announced soon. Tripathi had arrived at the party office with around 1,000 supporters for the formal induction when the warning was issued. The administration and party leadership opted to delay the event due to the large crowd and inadequate security arrangements. Although Tripathi met with the Haryana Chief Minister, she did not participate in the event where her joining was to be formally announced. The BBMB Chairman's wife expressed her desire to serve people on a larger scale through a political platform and clarified that her induction into the BJP will happen formally soon.
